An individual or group of individuals that share a dwelling, that is, live and sleep in that dwelling most of the time, who pool some or all of their income and wealth, and who consume certain types of goods collectively, mainly housing and food. Business activities included in this sector are informal and do not have a separate legal status from the household. Partnerships and proprietorships that have a separate legal identity from the household are organizations that are not included in the household sector.
