INTERNATIONAL BANKING FACILITIES (IBFS)

A set of asset and liability accounts, segregated on the books of the United States establishing entity. IBFs are permitted to hold only assets and liabilities of foreign residents, residents of Puerto Rico and United States territories and possessions, other IBFs, and United States and foreign offices of the establishing entity.
